Hoy en día la moda de los ochentas se esta adaptando rápidamente, especialmente con las siguientes tendencias: Se abandona el algodón y la lana y se pasa a los tejidos ricos como el cuero, el terciopelo, el lamé, el moaré, el damasco y las lentejuelas en todo color…

Siempre se mantiene el color negro, pero compite en igual escala con el color oro y plata, ya que se requiere de mucho brillo y esplendor en la ropa y el maquillaje.

No más acabados mates y de naturalidad, busca la artificiosidad, llena de glamour; es más, sin pasar inadvertida. Busca los accesorios propios de la época que te dan el toque final.

Cinturones anchos o finísimos, pero siempre por encima de la camisa o sweater, o incluso del abrigo, todo aquello que aporte brillo o luminosidad, espejos, oro, plata, cristales y toda la bisutería y joyería, y aun más perfumes profundos y envolventes...

No te dejes inhibir por lo artificiosa que te puedas ver buscando el look de los ochenta, pues más que el lujo y la extravagancia tipo barroco, es lo que se está llevando, y nunca está de más.

creo q esta bien cuando antes se usaban de esos nadie tenia panza resulta q ahora cuando salieron los pantalones a la cadera la panza salia tambien los q estan a la mopda son los pitillos o entubados

Bueno, no son precisamente como los de los 80s que estaban horriblees! ahora vienen tipo entubado pero hasta la cintura y son como mas ajustados, y hace que se vean mas estilizados no como las de antes que se veían todos inflados en el abdomen y todavía se ponían cinto! jaja que horror ;)

los ochentas y la moda

Uno de los elementos más importantes para Joel Goodson (Tom Cruise en Risky Bussines) son sus lentes oscuros. Iconos de la juventud desenfadada y reventada de mediados de los ochenta, es difícil olvidar esa escena final de la película cuando el protagonista, luego de salirse con la suya, mira a la cámara, presume de los ocho mil dólares que ganó en una sola noche y se coloca las gafas.

No quiero recordar cuantos fuimos los émulos de Tom Cruise (al usar los lentes, no en lo de regentear prostitutas) que deseábamos conseguir esos símbolos de estatus y de “buena onda”.

Negros, de tipo antiguo, pero sobre todo con una personalidad propia se transformaron en símbolo ochentero.

En aquellas oscuras épocas de los Ochentas una muñeca Barbie tenía más opciones para escoger un auto que un mexicano.

Contrario a lo que ocurre en la actualidad tan solo existían siete marcas: Ford, Chrysler, Chévrolet, AMC (que merecen una entrada completa), Volkswagen, Renault y Datsun-Nissan. Cada una de ellas tenía unos cuantos modelos por lo que la variedad era muy limitada y en muchos casos casi nula.

La razón principal es que a alguien del gobierno se le ocurrió la brillante idea de que, para vender un auto en México, éste debería de ser fabricado en su mayor parte en el país, por esa razón, además de lo pequeño que era nuestro mercado, la variedad era mínima por lo que la mayoría de los que vivimos la infancia y la adolescencia en esos tiempos creamos una serie de fetiches automovilísticos que aún perduran.

si, la recuerdo, y me hubiera encantado haber nacido en ella... el peor look? creo que el q llevo ahora... me gustaba mas la ropa de antes, ahora todo es para perdonas medios "fifis" y no me gusta esta ropa apretada, con escote y ostentosa.. jajaja Besos che!

De jame decirte que esa época, fue lo mejor que nos pudo haber pasado. por que en ese tiempo salio la onda del brake dance y sobre todo se desato toda la onda Europea. O sea todo lo Alternativo etc etc. y mi onda fue el vestir de negro y calzar esos zapatos de plataforma.

Los ochentas lo han calificado los diseñadores como el desastre de la moda jajaja, yo recuerdo mucho que me hacia el flequillo en forma de tubo, no,no,no ¡COMO PUDE HACER ESO! jajaja y no conforme con el flequillo el resto del cabello todo como decirlo un león estaba lacio a comparación de esos peinados, LOS PERMANENTES marco una época, y los pantalones como bombachos y de mezclilla, los mallones de colores, las cadenas que se usaban , pero lo que me da risa fue las muchachas que cumplian quince años en esa época que usaban sus vestidos rosas con un aro abajo que si se sentaban se les levantaba todo el vestido (bueno en México asi fue).

China announces arrests in Tibet

Peaceful protests developed into riots in Lhasa last week
China's authorities have arrested 24 people following protests against Chinese rule in the Tibetan city of Lhasa, according to official media.
The announcement came as authorities acknowledged for the first time that unrest had spread outside Tibet.

In Lhasa, 170 protesters had surrendered to authorities by late Wednesday, state media reported.

The city was returning to calm as China continued to build up its security presence in and around Tibet.

Chinese and Tibetan sources have given very different accounts of the protests that began in Lhasa on 10 March, on the anniversary of a Tibetan uprising against Chinese rule.

Authorities have placed strict limits on Western journalists trying to report on the unrest.

On Thursday the official Tibet Daily quoted prosecutors as saying two dozen suspects had been arrested for "endangering national security as well as beating, smashing, looting, arson and other grave crimes".

A government website quoted Lhasa deputy chief prosecutor Xie Yanjun as saying that suspects "should be severely punished to protect the strictness of the law".

"This law-breaking was organised, premeditated and carefully planned by the Dalai clique," he said, reiterating China's claim that Tibet's spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, had incited the unrest.

State media reported that 170 people had handed themselves in - up from the 105 people they said had surrendered to police in Lhasa after being threatened with harsh punishment if they failed to meet a Monday deadline.

It is not clear whether the 24 arrested are among the 170 reported to have surrendered. Rights groups say they have heard reports of arrests in the hundreds.

Georg Blume, a German journalist, told the BBC that in Lhasa "things have been getting a little bit back to normal.

"But police are still everywhere, and for the first time yesterday we saw police going into the houses and doing searches".

Protesters told him they had been angered by the repression of monks and daily discrimination against Tibetans, he said.

State media also reported for the first time that there had been unrest in the provinces of Sichuan and Gansu, neighbouring Tibet.

Xinhua news agency referred to protesters in Aba country, Sichuan as "mobsters", saying they had caused "great damage" to shops and government offices.

Demonstrators had called for Tibetan independence and waved the flags of Tibet's "government-in-exile", it said.

Earlier, video emerged from Gansu showing Tibetans tearing down a Chinese flag and replacing it with a Tibetan one.

Hundreds of protesters can be seen on foot and horseback in Tuesday's incident at a school near Hezuo, captured by a Canadian film crew.

Crackdown

Chinese authorities have intensified efforts to bring Tibet under control, drawing in troops from neighbouring areas.

On Wednesday alone, BBC reporters saw more than 400 troop carriers and other vehicles on the main road - the largest mobilisation since the unrest began.

Tibetan exiles say that at least 99 people have died, including 80 in Lhasa. China says that 16 people were killed, including three rioters.

Meanwhile, the Dalai Lama has called for the international community to support "our efforts to resolve Tibet's problems through dialogue".

UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown said China's Premier Wen Jiabao had told him he was open to talks under certain conditions.

He said he had told Mr Wen that he would meet the Dalai Lama during a visit to London in May and that the violence in Tibet must end.

Osama bin Laden denounced the publication of drawings insulting to the Prophet Muhammad in a new audio message and warned Europeans of a strong reaction to come. In the message, which appeared on a militant Web site that had carried statements from Al Qaeda in the past, a voice believed to be Mr. bin Laden’s did not specify what action would be taken but said, “Let our mothers bereave us if we do not make victorious our messenger of God.” The message was posted after Danish newspapers on Feb. 13 republished a cartoon showing Muhammad wearing a bomb-shaped turban to show their commitment to freedom of speech after the police said they had uncovered a plot to kill the artist. The drawing was one of 12 cartoons first published in a Danish newspaper that set off major protests in Muslim countries in 2006. “Publishing these insulting drawings,” Mr. bin Laden said in the recording, “is the greatest misfortune and the most dangerous.” The five-minute message, which featured English subtitles, is Mr. bin Laden’s first for 2008. It came as the Muslim world celebrated the holiday that marks the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad.
